Before you write
- Reload TaskGPT from chrome://extensions, then try the task again.
- Allow the site when TaskGPT asks. It works on the page you have open.
- In the panel, choose Allow once or Always allow before that task is sent. The card on a page sends when you press send.
- Open Details to save PDFs and rules. Matching text from a saved PDF can be sent with a task you allow. Close returns to the chat.
- Save the resume in Details if a form asks for a file. TaskGPT can place that file in the form’s file field. Matching text from it can be sent with the task.
Common questions
It asked me to open a page myself
Allow the site when asked. TaskGPT works on the page you have open. It fills fields from what you saved or attached. It clicks Submit only when your task says to submit.
A required field was skipped
If the page shows an error, TaskGPT should stop and ask. Choose the value, such as a salutation, from the suggestions. Saved details are filled without asking again.
Passwords and payments
TaskGPT does not collect, send, store, or type usernames, passwords, card numbers, CVV, or one-time codes. If you ask it to sign in or pay, or the page is a password or payment step, it stops on this device and does not send that page. It does not click Pay, and it does not click Submit on a payment page.
Posts
A post is written from what you type. TaskGPT clicks Post or Publish only when your task asks for that.
